In this space, we've held weddings and funerals, concerts and parties, housed neighbors in need and given away thousands of bags of groceries ... all of these gatherings being various types of worship. We find the building to be a place of joy and comfort, and a place of peace and prayer. We've been doing what we can to keep her a safe and beautiful place, but she's old and needs a lot of work to keep her going. If you'd like to make a donation to the fund that cares for her, you can do so in three ways:
A team has formed whose focus is to restore St. Elizabeth. This team has been working together on fund raising, writing grants, and developing / working with projects that will physically restore and improve the building. They recently held a prayer vigil in the building that was beautifully done. If you'd like to join their efforts, contact Eric or visit the St. Elizabeth Blog. Artist Community and Co-op We have been blessed with some wonderful artists who have either put down their roots here in the neighborhood or blessed us in other ways. Some of them even rent studio space in the St. Elizabeth building.
